Just to start, I'm yet to get my latest piggies as I want to make sure I'm well prepared and researched etc... but I'm set on a sow pair and have been thinking of names! I've had pets before, including loads of fish/aquarium animals, and have always had great fun choosing names. I know that it's probably no good choosing names before they're here as often you don't know if that name 'fits', but it's good to brainstorm/daydream :) . With the fish especially, I liked to give them really grand, pretentious, complex names, and have real fun researching meanings and stuff (I don't have kids - imagine I'd be looking at names for yeeeeears given the time and effort I go into pet names!).

Anyways, here's my thoughts so far (some of them I think lend themselves to pairing up nicely):
- Lyra and Cassiopeia (Cassi) (these are constellations)
- Pandora and Phoebe (planet moons)
- Juno and Amelie (film refs)
- Fern and Wren (nature vibe)
- Isidore and Ariel (Shakespeare)
- Juniper
- Maeve
- Seren
- Bree
- Calla
- Calliope
- Farren
- Millie
- Marble
- Pixie
- Selene
- Aubrey

I do like things that are elegant and a bit unusual, but there's nothing to say that after all that deliberation I'll get piggy brain and end up with Spot n Dot or Pinky n Perky or Pig 1 and Pig 2

I love the names Fern & Wren, but then I always go for names with a 'nature vibe' so maybe i'm biased :D

The guinea pigs I have at the moment are Amber, Poppy & Rowan. Some i had in the past; Topaz (Ambers sister), Lily & Snowdrop, Hazel & Willow, Oakley & Truffle, Apricot, Harvey, Douglas, Conker, Micha, Jasper. And my first guinea pigs I had as a child I named Misty & Starlight. I like to keep a little group of 3 or 4 and have been a guinea pig owner for 20+yrs, love guinea pigs :luv:
