MY parents went to get me my hay, straw and sawdust the other day! They came back a short time later with the items, ask how much they said it was ok,but I insisted that I'd pay! Dad told me it was free? he found a £20 note in the car park so used that to pay!! Jammie ! O0

Haha lucky.

I remember my dad walked past a cash point once and there was £70 there - i'd feel guilty about taking it though lol. Obviously he didn't ;D

Haha Gaile that's great! ;D My great uncle was in a Morrissons garage and some man bent down and picked up a £10.00 my uncle said oh thanks mate, like it was his and the man gave it to him! ;D

I've been in shops and been given too much change, not my problem! :D Obviously if I found a purse or wallet I'd go the police station! :D

The most ive found is about £6 ;D
I found £1 at first then carried on walking and there was more £1 coins :D

I was behind a lady at the cashpoint & she left £500 in the machine! I took it in the building society and they said they could trace her and pay it into her account. I gave my details but never heard a thing! How ungrateful! I'd always give a reward to anyone handing in money or anything!

My mum found a wallet with £700 in it & a tiny scrap of paper with scribbly writing of an address. We tracked down the address and a little old man came out in tears - it was his holiday spending money that he'd withdrawn from the bank that day (going on holiday the following day) and his wife had been in tears all day. He was so sweet he tried to give my mum £100 reward! She refused and finally accepted £20 - we had an indian take away!

Oh how nice Black Jack :smitten: I would always give the money back if it was over £200 0:) poor people - thinking theyd lost the money then they get it back :)

i found £20 on the floor on my way home from uni one day. i was going out that night so my drinks were paid for ;D

He was such a sweet little old guy too - must have been over 70. He was so grateful - just kept crying and saying how lovely my mum was to bother to find him and give all the money back. He said we restored his faith in human nature - so sweet!

Awww black Jack thats so nice ;)

I once found an old wallet in a taxi on the way to Birmingham airport, was off on my jolly's. In it was £120 in notes, no cards, no paper nowt. I asked the taxi man who was last in his cab and he said I dunno just someone who hailed me. My hubby said not to give it to him as he would keep it. Rang the police and they said if there's no details in it then there wasn't much they could do so we had an extra nice holiday ;D

I would never keep money that was in a cashpoint I would let it go back into the cashpoint where it will go back into the account. I would also hand in lost purses/wallets
A loose note on the street is a different matter but if you see it drop from a owner its classed as theft if you dont hand it back. I always say what goes around comes around. I am no way rich but how can people sleep at night knowing someone has lost money that might of been all they had left to live on or it was for gas or electric something more important that a drink in the pub.

quite easily a fool & money soon parted their loss my gain etc etc :D lol.

That said i recall as a kid finding a tenner & mum making me hand it in to shop/cop shop to see if anyone claimed it. longest 2 weeks of my life but it came back to me & i learnt a valuable lesson i have now forgotten :D lol
