My Guinea pig tofu(3.5 year) from yesterday morning was spotted not eating food, went to vet and she couldn't diagnose anything but gave a drip and de-wroming
Now he wasn't eating anything yesterday, slept all day had to sryinge feed him.
Today he showed a interest to eat break few leaves of alfafa but not eat as if he wants to eat but isn't, nibbled on some cucumber. I gave him banana and grape very small amount which he ate
He currently is looking little pale, heartbeat is high. What I do for him can't trust the vet cause in my city no good vet is there. I suspect GI as of all the symptoms he has. Please help fast

Hi and welcome

HUGS

I am ever so sorry. You are clearly trying to do your very best in a very difficult situation.

Please take the time to read the links below; they contain all the practical tips and information you may need. We cannot guarantee that your piggy will make it through but you will hopefully have a chance:

This is our one-stop emergency information collection: Emergency and Crisis Care as well as Bridging Care until a Vet Appointment

Here is our guide for serious digestive problems: Digestive Disorders: Not Eating - Diarrhea - Bloat - GI Stasis (No Gut Movement)
Please be aware that bloating can be both the result of digestive system going wrong (dysbiosis) but it can also be the result of something pushing onto the gut (cancerous mass or fluid build up in the belly caused by heart failure) or intense pain radiating into the gut - it is all very tightly packed down there. We call that secondary bloating because it is a side effect but the not the cause.
The fact that he is struggling to breathe and is pale makes me think that the secondary bloating could be a possibility but it could also be the other way round - intense bloating can also impact on the heart. :(

Here is more practical advice on support care:
- How to Improvise Feeding Support in an Emergency
- All About Syringe Feeding and Medicating Guinea Pigs with Videos and Pictures
- Probiotics & Live Gut Microbiome Transfer ('Poo Soup'); Recovery Formula Foods And Vitamin C: Overview With Product Links and Transfer Recipe

I am never quite happy to linking in this guide here but in view of the time difference and that you are dealing with a life threatening situation, I hope that if it comes to the worst during out UK downtime, you will have something that talks you through it step by step and that you won't feel as helpless and alone:
A Practical and Sensitive Guide to Dying, Terminal Illness and Euthanasia in Guinea Pigs

I am keeping my fingers very firmly crossed!
