Bruceys op yesterday went very well, with no complications!

After being told he'd be drowsy when brought home as soon as he got in his cage he was trying to get to the girls and was eating his veg! He seems like his normal self.


Couple of questions..

Will he be allowed on the grass? Or would you suggest to keep him inside for a few days?

How often would you suggest to check his cut?

Also, should the appearance of his balls be any different? They just seem like they're hanging a little lower.. Haha

When I was fostering neutered boys I kept them off the grass till certain that wound was closed, usually 3 to 5 days. Best to not put on damp grass. Check him daily for bleeding or swelling. He shouldn't have balls/testicles if he's been neutered but it's just the scrotum that is now empty & will recede with time. You can check with vet when you take him for post-op check-up/stitch removal or if worried ring your vet.

Yeah, I thought it might be best to keep him off the grass being cautious of his wound.

Yes, it does look like slightly saggy skin, just checking its normal and nothing is wrong. Thank you
