Hi just a quick question is 2 years old to old to be neutered as am considering getting my boar scruffy done to go with my two girlies

http://www.cavyspirit.com/neutering.htm Not sure I think 2 is the topper end of the scale I've heard of 2 year old being done. This link is great has questions you should ask.

I am considering this for 2 of mine Twinkle and Milo. Twinkle is bullying Milo something rotten and I was considering neutering them and one could live with one sow and the other with another sow. I have two sows in a pair that aren't exactly close.

But I'm hoping they resolve it Twinkle is 2 in July and Milo 1 in April. :)

Two years old is fine. I have a pig estimated to be 3-5 years who was neutered by the shelter, and aside from being a very frisky chap he is fine. :)

That is useful to know Laura. Twinkle is an absolute . Of course I don't want to rehome him and this is his second friend but we'll see. I've found a good local vet who does neutering so thats not a problem. :)

ok thanks will ask my vet tomorrow as taking my girls to the vets as they have the dreaded mites
