Adult Guinea Pig
Well....I lost my little Ralph and my heart was well and truly broken.
But Arnold was left all on his own and in the end I had to pull myself together and make a serious decision.
I decided that he needed a friend...He was so miserable and lonely. I couldn't make him suffer because I was upset.
So I went to a local woman who rescues piggies. She showed me her shed and let me have a look at some of her pigs.
I admit I was struggling because it had only been just over a week since I had lost Ralph and getting another piggy so soon...Just made me feel like I was replacing him.
But I saw this little boy...
And the woman asked me if I'd like a cuddle....So I took him out and fussed him and I could feel myself falling in love all over again.
I decided to name him Alfred and he is now living together with Arnold.
They've become the best of friends in such a short span of time and Arnold is finally happy again. He's changed a bit too. When he was with Ralph, Arnold was a bit of a scaredy pig but....Now he's becoming very brave. I guess it's because he's got a little one to look after now.
