Well I popped into my local pet shop on Saturday and came home with a new furry! Naughty of me I know but she was all alone and is sooo beautiful...

I am thinking of calling her Snowball but if anyone can think of something better please say

I've not had a hamster since I was a kid so if anyone can offer me heads up on best cages, feeds(inc fruit/veg etc) I'd be very grateful! I am going to have a look at some hammy forums, so again any recommendations, send them my way

Also, will she be ok as a solitary girl or would she be happier as a pair?

Looks to me a russian dwarf

If so yes she can have a friend but she can stay on her own

My hamster loves sweetcorn on the cob, fresh fruit etc

She's beautiful, yes Snowy, but i can see why Michelle said Narnia (the snow witch part maybe)

Will she eat that big peanut? Looks half her size :D

Is she nice and tame given that she came from a pet shop?
 
She is friendly yes, I've not handled her too much so as to let her settle in and also she's always asleep :o ;D
 
I have always loved the name Snowbelle, like the flower.

She is soooooo gorgeous ;D
