That's an interesting site. Anyone here doing the qualifications?
Teeth workshop?

what it the easiest way to get hold of a membership pack for the cct, as will be going home in the next 6 weeks and then will be within 10 mins of vedra and was hoping on getting the teeth and health checks on my girls.

Just ring up and ask her! If you want the full health checks done, book an appointment and explain that you wish to join as a CCT member. I live about a mile from Vedra - whereabouts will you be, lovelygirl?

I'm doing the courses - I'm waiting on a compromise to the last part of the RHA (due to my agoraphobia) and am starting the GBAR straight after. Once I'm braver I'll be doing all the workshops and volunteering down there regularly - so should meet a few of you!

Does anyone have any information regarding the monitoring/assessment/inspection of the association?

I know it states that diplomas are issued but does anyone have any idea who the examining board is and what other bodies recognise them?

:)

I know that several vets that I have spoken to do not recognise the BAR diploma and one is a guinea-loving one. :(

Wouldn't it be lovely if the offical Vet body would work together with the BAR?

Ooh i was wondering what had happened to the old website thanks Laura! Id love to do the courses but inbetween trying to save a deposit for a house and trying to still actually live, i cant afford it :(8...

I understand that one of Vedra's main ambitions is to get the BAR qualifications recognised by some of the powers that be. The RHA and GBAR diplomas have no formal standing currently, but it is possible to do a great deal with them.
