new boar Beau in the bath, with pigtures!

Hi all you may remember that i wrote a week or so ago that my boar Yorkie (far right of avatar picture) had died suddenly while i was bathing him. I have since rescued a new boar for my herd, whom i asked you to help name last week, I have named him Beau.

I had to face the prospect of bathing Beau today and as you can imagine i was feeling very nervous about it. However i need not have worried as i think Beau was well handled in his previous home as he is extremley tame.

Aww gorgeous boy, glad he was well behaved for his bath and it must be a big relief for you! How's he settling in with the herd?

he is settling in incredibly well, its like he has always been there. He was straight up the ramp of the C&C, which i thought i would have to train him. He lets me put my hand in the cage to fuss him and the girls have really taken to him. It could not have gone better xx
