I bonded the girlies yesterday. This morning I fed them a huuuuge plate of veggies and everyone was up for it! I actually saw the two babies eating for the first time!

Sweeties ear issues have exploded, probably due to all of the stress going through the bond. Snowy has a vet appointment this morning at 11am (2.3 hours away) and I am taking Sweetie in a different carrier to see of Jordie can see her to.

The issue is, who goes with her? The bond is so new (yesterday) that I do not know who to take with her. And I do not fancy putting 6 piggies in to one carrier. I have three carriers but would that upset their new bond?

Perhaps Sweetie could go with her original friend/s?

Best of luck at the vet's for her and Snowy.

I am very sorry; either take her alone for once or choose a sow that is lower or similarly low ranked as a companion in a group until you know who she is best mates with. Don't take the top sow if you are not taking the whole group.

Good luck at the vets with Sweetie and Snowy.
I'd probably take the lowest ranked piggy - that way you can't upset the hierarchy as they will always be the lowest anyway.
Hope all goes well.

I took Sweetie and Poppy.

Snowy has another 10 days of Intrafungol with F10 barrier creme, but he is much better than he has been.

Sweetie has 3 weeks Intrafungol with metacam (the dog one) and F10 barrier creme

Everyone else has 3 weeks Intrafungol meds and I will be putting F10 on their ears as well.

I wanted the full herd treated as Poppy showed signs of infection.

I am cleaning out the room on Wednesday and giving it a thorough clean. In fact I'm doing that to the entire house. Because I still have bare brick walls, my house is normally dusty, but now I have to be very careful.

I'm feeling that Imnever going to get rid of it. If this does not work I'm going back to ask for an anti fungal dip and everyone will be treated.

Just threw out tens of pounds of hidies, grass mats, grass tubes, carrot cottage, anything edible or chewable made out of wood, grass, Seagrass or anything that cannot be washed and disinfected.

Once the girlies are more settled I will get them some pigloos and more PVA pipe. Fleece is fine because it can be washed.

On Wednesday I am mopping the entire room after a full cage clean. The vet said something about ringworm spores like dust...my entire house will be cleaned by Friday as I have three days off work.

Do you all think that I am going too mad about it?
