New boy

Hi all!

So…..we got the new boy home, and here he is! This is Crumble and he is 6 weeks old.

He’s just settling in for a night or two as he’s obviously very scared, then I’m moving him into the same room as my older pig before attempting a bonding over the weekend/early next week.

I’m trying not to get too emotionally invested at this point as of course my older single boy may reject him. I’m also super scared of any fall outs as he gets older so I’m stressed right out!

But for now, teeny Crumble has a home with us.

It would be best if you move him to right beside your older boy immediately. Babies under four months of age should never be out of contact with another piggy so being side by side, at least, is essential for him.

Thank you, I did wonder. I will probably do it tomorrow as he’s had a stressful day with a car ride, but I had intended on semi ignoring the rescue centre’s advice after reading the guides on here anyway and putting them, as a minimum, in the same room.
