So my two newest rescue boys are not crazy about hay. I am hoping that they are just setting in. I have only had them for 5 days. There are plenty of great looking poops in the cage. They have not lost weight. I have checked their front teeth and they are beautiful. I will have the back ones checked soon just in case. They eat veggies, pellets, and fresh grass just fine. I just don't see them sitting in hay all day like my others. I only give a tablespoon of pellets each day. My thought is maybe they were only fed pellets before being surrendered. Has anyone dealt with this before? I have thrown hay all over their cage just in case they are scared. Which the one one is. Maybe I am just being paranoid. Thank you in advance.

I have rescued two boars before that wouldn't eat much hay, I just kept going diffent ones until they did, and then after that, they would eat many different types, aslong as it wasn't brown crappy meadow hay.

Sorry about the spelling, it's my phone, it didn't go to school

I might just be paranoid. Lol. Thank you. I have been hand feeding it and he started eating right away. I only worry because I don't free feed pellets. I think that is what they are used to. Plus, they dont like the grain free ones I have. Lol.
