New Girl Maggie

Hi All,

This is my new guinea pig Maggie. Maggie came to me after Jane (nutmeg)took her in from a neighbour. Maggie has lived with a rabbit all her life, sadly the rabbit passed away last year leaving Maggie to rot basically in a dirty old hutch, with no bedding, no hay to eat, no food and a dirty green water bottle with no water in it! Jane couldn't leave her like that so asked did I want to take her in. Maggie is almost 5 years old and very friendly, she just needs fattening up. She is currently having spot on treatment as a precaution, but has been given a clean bill of health by the vet!

While enjoying the garden Sunshine took a shine to her so I have put her cage by his and he seems to have taken her under his wing! In a couple of weeks Maggie will be bonded with Leia and Lyra. :)

Awww congrats! :)) Shes so cute. :D I think she should meet my Patchy! ;) :p
 
She's lovely, I thought she was black and white from her original photo!

So glad she has a loving new home - isn't fate great?
 
Haha I have to look twice because on one side she is so much like my teddy sow Leia but then on the other side she is similar to my crested boar Eccles! :(|) it's like having two guineas for the price of one!

She is lovely though, not had a fantastic life by the sounds of it but you couldn't wish for a nicer pig. Although she did teeth chatter at Peter when he went to get her to put her in her cage for the night! She loves the garden! x
 
god bless sunshine and radley helping the new girl feel welcome! she's beautiful. maggie-may says she approves of the fab name choice and pheobe, ruby, bethany and sonny roll their eyes at maggie-may but send wheeks to your maggie!
 
Haha thanks Claire, I thought best to keep her name seeing as she is an old girl. :)
