New girl piglet :o)

This is Piglet, I think she's an Abbey :smitten:.

Her cage mate crossed over the Rainbow Bridge a few weeks ago :'( :'( and poor Piglet lost her appetite for several days and her owner was getting desperate for her.
I offered to take her in and place her in my run next to Poppy and Marmite to see if she perked up a little. and she did :D :D Eating, drinking and chatting within an hour of being with us.

After a settling in period on her own, I introduced her to Honey & Sparkles.
Sparkles really wasn't happy being with Piglet, but I tried several sessions in the run with Piglet and Honey and they got on fine :D :smitten:

Now they have been together for about a week and seem perfectly happy together :smitten: :smitten:

Just need to work out whether Sparkles is so grumpy, that she's destined to be a lone pig, or if there might actually be a piggy out there for her to share the rest of her life with :-\

She's gorgeous glad she is doing ok now!

As for Sparkles there is a pig for everyone I think maybe take her to a rescue and she can pick a pal. :)

she is one big mama :o :o :o she has lovely colours and markings and one pretty girl :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: am so happy she has perked up after losing her friend O0 may piglets friend run free and be happy 0:) 0:) 0:) hoping you find a friend for sparkles O0 hugs for all :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Bless her, that was taken when she first came to us poor little thing :'( She's not that big I don't think, such a cutie though :smitten:

I've not come across many rescues near me :( The only one I really know of is in Dorchester and they mainly rehomes in pairs. ::)
