Hi - sorry I've not been around for a while.
I have some good news...I went for a job interview last Friday for the post of nursing assistant on a psychiatric ward. Was really chuffed when they phoned in the afternoon to offer me the job. Shall be working on a 22-bed acute ward which is much larger than the place I was working at before. I start at the beginning of June and I'm a little bit nervous but am actually really looking forward to it. Hoorah - about time things went right for me. Have been unable to work for a long time due to M.E. but finally feel able to enter the world of work again. Wish me luck!
