New piggie room

Work has finally begun on my piggie room addition! My contractor is a friend of my dad’s or I would have fired him by now for taking so long. Hopefully, now that he has started, it will go up quick. Here are some before pictures, I’ll post a progress picture after they finish their work today! They have been here less than an hour and already have the fence off! I’m so excited! Now back to searching the internet for expanded cage ideas

My house is actually pretty small for my neighborhood. There are some really big mansions about 2 miles down the road.

More progress today! 2nd day of work. It looks bigger than it is because I zoomed out to show the whole thing. We’re leaving the brick wall there, it was super expensive to take it down so it will just be a fun accent wall.

It’s going to have a cathedral ceiling so whatever roof that is

How many square footage will that add to your current size of the house?
That will definitely add value to your house regardless of whether piggies are using it or your family is using it.

It will add 400sq ft to my 1500sq ft house

There was a pool here when I was a kid, they filled it in about 10 years ago. I grew up next door where my parents still live.

They will have bigger cages, but the dogs have to go through the room to get to the back yard. The room will also be my craft room and of course have a piggie petting couch. Basically it will be my little escape from my husband and kids!

So basically a she shed. Only attached to the house. And with piggies. Very cool.
