I’ve been asking recently for advice about Forrest’s indoor set up, and started to think more about getting him neutered and getting a female friend for him... well never one to do things the right way round... I picked up a lovely little girl yesterday! I found her on pets 4 homes website. The lady wanted to sell her with her cage and loads of accessories which I didn’t really need but I couldn’t stop thinking about her, and since single females seem to be hard to come by in rescues, I decided to bring her home 😊 I have put her in her cage in the same room but not next to Forrest. When I know she’s healthy I’ll move the cage nearer. It will be a few weeks before I can afford to get Forrest neutered now so it’s going to be at least a couple of months before they can actually live together! I’m hoping to extend Forrest’s cage so they’ll have more space. I’m hoping they’ll be a good match, they seem to have similar personalities from what I can see so far!
Just one problem... I can’t decide on a name for her! So any suggestions appreciated 😄 I originally wanted something pretty and naturey but I’m not sure she suits any of the names I had in mind! She had a Polish name before but the lady said it meant ‘cookie’. I did think of Millie (and then realised the association of Millie’s cookies!) and pretty much named her Matilda/Millie in the car on the way home but when I looked at her again I wasn’t sure it suited 🙈 Lenka kept popping into my head but not sure if I’m thinking she now needs a European sounding name 😂 Also thought Tatiana suits her but not sure again... help! 😂 So here she is:

Not the best pics as I took them as soon as I put her in the cage so she’s understandably a bit shy!

This is the girl 😊 Maybe a punk rocker name is a good call though... off I go to google female punk rockers!

Classic punk lady names with that hair? Siouxsie Sioux (pronounced Susie Sue) or Toyah but she was more ginger... yes I am that old!

She is super cute. :tu:
Best of luck to everyone regarding neuter, recovery, and bonding afterwards.

She’s beautiful.
Just be very careful - it’s surprising what a determined boar can do to get at a sow.
