Sarah from Chucklebunnies
Adult Guinea Pig
The Cavy Corner Fun Day happened today and it really was fun. I loved talking to various other piggy people and watching the judging - very good decisions there - and the piggy races were the slowest, most relaxed, most gently ambling if not standing still races I've ever seen! Lovely. I recommend going to one of these if you ever get the chance. I have pots of Sue's jam now, mmmmmm, and Wiebke's cheesecake was totally nommy!
Best of all though, after the event I gained a new little girl from Sue at Cavy Corner. She is now called Lily.
As soon as she got into the conservatory she was determined to be part of the little herd....she is on the left eating hay while they basically watch her with interest (Lily, Lola, Carmeline and Mina L to R)
Telling the world she was there as she wandered around...
Exploring the place...
Trying each bit of new stuff out....(and popcorning too)
Mina was very interested in her and followed her around a bit...then she followed Mina too...
And here she was relaxing with the others under the fleece just a few minutes ago...
She has sounded off twice. Short sharp high pitched noises which basically mean 'don't mess with me' and has been chuckleing nicely as she goes along to let the rest of them know where she is - chucklebooting I call it as she chuckles every time a foot hits the floor. She is the most chillaxed and confident newbie I have ever seen. If she goes on like this she may end up ruling the place once grown. She is only 590g right now.
