New Piggy

Hi! I am new to the forum....posted a bit about myself and my future in the piggy world in the introduction forum.

Long story short, I am receiving my first piggy Saturday. Sadly my friend found out she is allergic to guinea pigs after she got the little guy. I go to meet him for the first time on Saturday, and granted everything goes well he will be coming home with my husband and I!

He is 7 months old, and from these pics just looks like a total cutie!

Also, as I have been doing quite a bit of research, about 7 months of homework, I know that piggies are happier with a friend, or more!

Therefore, I will be getting a second sometime shortly after I get this little guy! No name at the moment. Feel free to throw out some suggestions if you would like ;D

Awww, What a gorgoeus piggie x) Welcome to the forum!

We have a rescue and rehoming section - there are lots of rescues that would let you take your piggie along to them to take part in dating and help you find the perfect friend.

There are also many members on this forum such as Wiebke who have lots of experience in bondings and I'm sure will be happy to share advice and knowledge with you.

Thats what I was thinking. I thought of Snickers, and Hershey as well. SO we'll see.

He's a beautiful piggy indeed! I am sure that he will be in good hands with you.

It would be a good a idea to start a "piggy bank" for vet cost - they are even higher in the US than in here in Britain, so you are not caught out by a health problem.
