New Summer House! And customised piggie ramp :)

and a big YAY!:)):))

Finally picked up my bargin double tier hutch on sat (I was like a little kid so excited to pick it up!), thank you all for your kind suggestions on transporting the hutch in my previous thread! :) It's been cleaned out, scrubbed up and here's the boys new summer pad:

The boys headed straight for their bed:

And after a couple of hours I realised the ramp was awfully slippey and it was more of a slide than a stair way, so after reading some suggestions in the hutch and cage gallery(thank you again!) I fixed it up with some temp fleece going to get vet bed on monday:

I just love their new summer house, so much space for them to play, just thought i'd share my excitement over the boys new house with you all! (As most of my household couldnt understand whats so exciting about a glamorous new hutch! hehe i couldnt wait to clean it!)

That looks awesome! I bet the boys will love it. They are really cute - as are the turtles :)

Good idea with the ramp, they can be really slippy.
 
Aww thankies, the boys do love the turtles esp Harvey who loves snuggling into his turtle - he sometimes drags his around the cage so cute:)
 
What a great set up! Families just don't get the joy of a new piggy palace do they? Nevermind we will all share in the excitement with you! Loving their bed and snuggle friends. The tissue box filled with hay is clever too!
 
Hehe your right, i knew peeps on here would appreciate the piggies new home- some people have gorgeous set ups on the housing gallery! Its like christmas isnt it? it was so lovely to see them popcorning earlier they also shared my excitement! :) Aww thankies, me and my OH call the tissue box their 'Hay TV Box' - as they sit infront of it for hours and looks quite comical! :)
 
lovely new summer house! They looks cozy in their bed lol. Is that a tissue box youre using as like a makeshift hay rack? That pretty inspired, i'll have to use that idea.
 
Thank you's yersh its my make shift hay rack hehe! I alsouse it to hide veggies in sometimes too :)
 
I love the hutch! Looks like a great holiday home :)

I will try mine with a tissue box one I've emptied my current one :) I tried stuffing a box and cutting holes in it but they didn't like it, they want to be IN the hay :)). I might not stuff it so full this time though, maybe that's the thing?
 
That looks a great summer house and I too like the idea of the hay tissue box. I will use that for their floortime, hopefully not so messy!

Aww thats so cute I stuff mine full till its spilling out, although as soon as it stars dissapearing i tend to find a piggie or two in the box..hmm...perhaps you could try a smaller tissue box? They would certainly have a harder job getting into the box :P hehe!
