Message from Mark Rowland BVSc CertZooMed MRCVS:
Hello this is to inform members in the south east of a new specialist exotic animal practice that has opened in Maidstone, Kent. Mark Rowland who used to work at Sandhole vet centre in Snodland has set up his own practice for dogs, cats and exotic animals. Already we are taking Guinea pig referrals locally and ALL the staff keep piggies. Mark is the most highly qualified exotic animal vet in the area and achieved his certificate in Zoological Medicine last year. The practice has been built from scratch to cater for the needs of exotic animals and has full diagnostic and hospitalisation facilities including sevoflurane anaesthesia. Please visit the website for further information. Many thanks for reading, Happy Christmas :)

Hi thanks for this! where in Maidstone are you? I live in Tonbridge so just down the road?

Can you supply the website address and can you give rough quotes on what your fees are like?

thanks again!

Hello, we are close to Maidstone hospital so just off the Tonbridge road. as for our prices. We are not much different from a genaral vets but its all about value for money. The consultation you will get will be with an experienced, qualified exotics vet who sees lots of piggies on a first opinion and referral basis and is aware of the specific needs of g pigs. Phone us for quotes if you like :)

Thanks - i did send an email to your enquiries, just for a check up! :)

I've sent two emails, but neither have been answered... is the email address printed on the site working or didn't he like the questions I asked lol?

I am very interested to know more about Trinity vets. May I post my questions on this thread rather than via email, then hopefully others will see the responses and save you the trouble of answering it over and over?

That's interesting Julie, I wonder whether the link/email isn't working? I asked Nicola whether she had heard of Trinity/Mark and she said she had, although she hasn't referred anyone yet. It would be good to get a point of contact going though.:)
