just seems strange, different sounds then what we heard from buddy the male.. but she loves being petted she has been sitting on me for almost an hour...
 
My girls will often make that sound when sat on my lap, they just chatter away to themselves. I don't think it's a bad sound. Just chattering :)
 
Mine very rarely make them noises, and when they do it tends to be when they are distress.

I am not 100% sure but I don't think she likes being stroked at the moment.

It's the noise my girls make when they're annoyed or Crackers makes when Biscuit is mounting him... It's a grumpy sound, you want her to make a more crackly sound, you'll know when she's more settled when she grunts more than wines.. actually I've just looked at your video again.. he's tickling her! Some guineas have really sensitive skin, and it's her way of saying she doesn't really like it.. (when he's rubbing her coat the wrong way).. try stroking the same way as the coat lies, rub her behind the ears, around the chin area..:)

Dindy tends to make that noise when she's had enough stroking, I gather it's a slightly annoyed noise and she's telling me 'enough'.
 
She sounds a bit annoyed, but not frightened - it's a good sign that she is talking to you.
