Hi There, I hope I'm putting this in the right section (Wasnt sure if it was classed as care!)
Earlier this year, one of my Boars (1 of 2 brothers) passed away unexpectedly. He was quite young only just under 2 years old. I have heard so many things about introducing new guinea pigs! I decided to leave my remaining Boar alone as he seemed quite happy alone (He was always the dominant one anyway!). I now have the oppertunity of a very youg boar, about 6 weeks old. Although my original boar is happy, I would quite like to provide a home for the young one and I have heard and read that inrtoducing a young to an older one is usually okay as the older will act more protective I just didnt know how old was old! My boar is now about 26 months old. I'm not sure what to do and was hoping someone who has done this could provide some advice.
Thanks
Sara
