Nigel absolutely adores his heatpad, he is so tiny due to his health issues that he needs one even though it's not that cold yet.

Last night I switched his heatpads over and as soon as I lifted his little tent up to put the new one in he darted in there before I could put it down, so I had it on it's side behind him. I nudged him a bit to get him to move and he turned round, went up on his back legs and pulled it down with his paws until he was able to jump on it, which was before it was even flat on the ground. How clever is he?

I love him so much, he's my little angel. Even though am sure he feels rubbish some days he always seems so pleased to see me and snuggles right into my neck. On his trip to the vets the other day I had to step away from the table as he would not stop trying to climb up me :))

Aw, Nigel sounds such a little sweetie ^)
Snugglepads are brilliant to keep our furries warm and Saturday evening, I was in sooo much pain from an ear and throat infection, was tempted to 'borrow' one mallethead just to help me sleep :x

Awwwww, bless him, what a sweetie x>>

That's such a cute story. Nigel sounds so sweet, I must have missed his story. Is there a link to it anywhere?

It's on a real mixture of threads, basically he is a heart pig but we did not know this until we took him in. He came all the way from Cornwall after he lost his friend. I am still in touch with his old owner who is lovely and keep her updated on his progress. Aswell as his heart issues we are currently looking at a possible mycosis which is affecting him gaianing weight. He's a work in progress so to speak.

Thanks BellasMummy, that's a lovely thing to say :)

Aww that is so cute! I just pictured his little hands arranging the heat pad. I am so glad he has found you and you can give him the special care and love he deserves.

Thanks everyone, he gave me a little scare last night when he went very lethargic and floppy but I had him on my lap for ages and gave him fluids and he was much brighter after that.

ahhhhhhhh it's lovely to hear an update on the feisty Nigel x)
egads! that boy did give you a horrible scare.....PHEW glad you knew just what to do xx>>>xx>>>

Thank you, he is so tiny, here's a couple of updated pics and a video, the second one was taken when he had a turn the other night and he looks much much brighter now as you can see from the video (excuse me in the video, I got a fit of the giggles because he was making my hair tickle my ear and I am trying really hard not to look at the camera).
