Hi, I have one Boar piggie right now and he is probably about 3 and 1/2 months old right now. He loves to be held, snuggled, brushed, and he absolutely loves his floor time! When holding him, more like letting him lay on my chest, while I'm petting him he will every once in a while nip at my fingers. He has never full on bit me or shown any aggression other then the nipping. Is there anyway to stop this or will he grow out of it? Anything helps! Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the forum :)
Your piggie might be saying he wants to go down for a pee rolleyes or he might be hungry, you'll get to learn his habits over the next few months :)
Enjoy the forum, and i hope you can put up some pics of him soon x)

You might like to look at this link she explains their behaviour

Thank you! Guess I just need a little more time with him and learn his signs a bit better! I also just ordered him a bigger cage to see if having more room to play around in will help even though he hardly spend any time at all in the cage.

They are herd animals so they love friends................ however it is best (this advice from the rescues) to take him along and let him choose a friend :)

(i'm off to eat lunch, catch you another time soon x)

I've got two piggies. Cocoa is a cuddly boy and totally docile. Ginger is the dominant male, is more assertive and inquisitive. When I transport him from place to place, sometimes he will nip at me or at my clothes. He never, ever hurts me -- it's like he runs the outside surface of his teeth gently over my skin.
