I'm going away tomorrow. For 2 weeks.

My Piggies are in the safe hands of my brother and his girlfriend but I'm still terribly sad.
I was excited about having a Holiday but I didn't think leaving them would be this hard.

Just the thought of two weeks without them...Actually makes me cry.
I know it's a bit stupid but I'm so used to having them around.
I like going to bed, listening to them running around, wheeking, chomping and popcorning all over the place.
I'm used to sleeping in the same room as them and when I tried to go to bed a little while ago...I just couldn't do it.
My bedroom feels slightly spooky without them.

And no cuddles for 2 weeks 8...

I keep forgetting that they aren't here and I've gone upstairs a few times...With veggies...And I walk into my bedroom and see their empty cage and I'm like "Oh...Yeah...No piggies..."

I think I'll feel much better once I leave tomorrow and I'm out of the house but I'm still going to miss them terribly.

But tonight, I think I'll sleep in the living room. I can't face my empty bedroom...It doesn't feel right.

Ralph! Arnold! Your mummy loves you~
Don't forget me~

you poor thing...

Think about it this way: You'll be excited to come back when all the other holiday makers will be sad and pathetic!rolleyes

I'm not going on holiday this year (pregnant) and that's a relief becaue of the pigs...

That is true :) I have a reason to come home!

Every year, I moan and WANT to stay but this year, I'll be very happy to get back.

I left my babies in July for a week and they were spoilt rotten by my mum coming round each day and looking after them and bringing them special treats!

I did miss them whilst I was away but I knew they were in safe hands and that when I got home I would be buying them lots of extra veggies as a treat!

It was nice not to be sad coming home as I was excited to see them!

It is really hard, to leave your piggies. But while your away just keep thinking 'your coming home to see your piggies!' They will be so happy to see you again :)

I'm sure you will have a great time, and just think of all the piggy wheeking when you come home and they see you again. x
