Thanks to @Lorcan for the idea... :)

Of course, both Willow and Marble know and love the sound of food coming; that often means MY food - any plastic wrapper sound, the fridge door, any kitchen cupboard, the hallway cupboard... basically I can barely move for them wheeking expectantly and excitedly, lol!

Now, being indoor piggies in the living room, they're very used to a fair level of hustle and bustle and of course, TV noise. But they HATE the Paco Robanne One Million/Lady Million advert as it has a repetitive clicking beat and they growl in response! There's also an ad which starts with alarm clock noises, buzzing and beeping. They don't like that for similar reasons!

Well, I now know Comet likes the sound of bubble wrap, and they both start hunting around when the hay bag is rustling. When I was putting some of the old hay into their new home they started hunting round their cage expectantly - "You're putting it in the wrong place Dad!"

They also make the annoyed purring sound at any sort of bleeping noise. They don't like my flat's buzzer lol.

Love this post, hah, piggies are such characters! :D
My boy piggies hate the noise the gate to my yard makes, me going shhh, the extractor fan in the bathroom, the hoover, anyone one talking who isn't me and they are not fans of the Jeremy kyle Show at all :))
They like the sound of plastic bags, the creak of the bottom step of my staircase when I'm walking up them, me going 'piggies' in a sissy voice

My two have no choice but to like Jeremy Kyle... please don't call the RSPCA on me :))

They love me saying "PIGGY PIGGY PIIIIIIIGGGGGYYYY!" in an excited voice when they're popcorning; I looooove to extend their fun!

My pigs love the sound of the fridge opening or anything that sounds like a hay bag. Several have hated the phone ringing or the noise the buttons make when you dial for whatever reason. Hadley always brrrs at the phone. Linney did too.

Mine love the noise of the fridge opening, bags rustling and veggies being chopped. They dislike the buzzer (for the front door) and used to hate the telephone as it was loud but I got a new one that enables the noise to be turned down so they don't mind it now. They also hate thunder - we had thunder a few weeks ago and it was practically right above my house, you could feel the vibrations from it in the house, and they both jumped about a foot in the air!

Mine love plastic bags rustling, their cordless cage vaccum, me shouting "hi piggies" upstairs to them when I arrive home from being out, the zipper noise on their pop up laundry bin hay store (they go crazy at this, popping all round their cages) the sound of their food canister opening, the sound of veggies being chopped. Lol.

They really dislike the doorbell, me sneezing, the dog barking, me dropping anything on the floor. Any loud sudden noises really.

Our love the sound of bags rustling ( of course!), their pellet tub being opened, my daughter talking / singing to them

They don't like any sudden loud noises but are used to quite a lot of hustle and bustle as their cage is in the room where my children do all their drawing, craft etc Often I find it's movement that sends them running for cover, for example if you suddenly walk in the room.

Oh I forgot about sneezing! Mine really don't like that either.

Same here with sneezing! My two look at me like "Why?!?", as if it's just to annoy/confuse them! Saying that, I think they think EVERYTHING I do revolves around them in some aspect or another!

My do you don't like me sneezing either
Stroppy will squeal anything to Brussels including non-plastic bags you so food based this on real
Correction stripey
Choc rumbles of things its best to remember that light salad bags
He rambles on stripey if he's waking for no reason
We king for no reason
This dictation is rubbish this evening

Our boys love the sound of anything food-related (they actually wheek at their lunchtime, even when we fed them later a few times they wheeked on time, really spooky) and also love having the cage swept. We were sweeping the room outside the cage and they were excited!

They I like all the sounds of all my different flutes apart from the Picollo and the D major African Blackwood whistle because they're both in the same register and the really high
They like the sound of both my harps and a little while string zither
They don't like any of the brass section in the orchestra the whole brass section is out I get rumble that's turn the radio off
They are really not impressed with brass
Any other part of the orchestra they're okay with just not brass
The Hoover they're not too fussed with it doesn't seem to bother them
They do not like funder however that makes them really scared it scares me and fireworks none of us like those

I like the sound of my keyboard though only when it's on the piano strings I don't like any of the sound apart from those two and all the reasons he has built into it well they're not impressed with those either for some reason it's putting in our you when I'm trying to say they tonight's dictation is really starting to get right on my...

Mine two both like the sound of the pellet bag rustling and being opened even before they smell the pellets and they can tell the difference between the pellet bag rustling and any other bag rustling. They also like when I announce when their meals are ready.

Patchy doesn't like the TV and will get very agitated when she hears people she doesnt know talking on it. They both dont like when the phone vibtates and dings when I get a message. Coco doesn't like noise that disturbs her eating her veg (only veg) and won't come out to eat it until everyone is gone.

Silly piggies!
Mine love the sound of the fridge, anything plastic that rustles and the microwave (silly pigs, your food doesn't come from there!)

They hate the sound of keys and the birds that chirp outside. They're also not fans when planes fly overhead.

My older babies don't really get spooked at anything, but the young ones HATE keys XD Any jingle of keys and they're off, hiding in their houses brrring at me XD

OH. Someone in my building (actually I know exactly who it is, I just can't prove it) has their burglar alarm going off on a fairly regular basis. The damned thing is loud and my two hate it with a passion.

One day I'm going to find out how to disconnect that damned alarm, then it won't be a problem...

Apparently, me opening Halls menthol sweets is cause for expectant wheeking and wheeling

Which is quite a surprise to find this out when I'm watching telly at 1am :))

My two girls hate it when anyone coughs as they run and hide. One also doesn't like the sound my phone makes when a Messenger message pings through. She makes a shuddering sound that lets me know she's displeased!

Rodney always likes the X Factor theme- he knows that it means an evening of TV laptime. :lol!:

They're not really a fan of the phone ringing, but they all love the sound of the cats collar jingling when he runs around and keys (maybe they just like the sound of me leaving? :hmm:)

The only noise I've found that the piggies don't like is when something gets stuck in the Hoover!

I've had a few that have liked the sound of jingly bells, and keys. Sometimes they bruurr at songs on the radio.

All of them like food-related sounds :))

Mine don't like the hoover (I don't like it much either).
They like everything else, but their favourite sound is me saying 'I've got piggy treats' :D
