They do love those corn husks! My 4 fight over them, I've only been able to find them in sainsburys though :(

Amina looks very happy with her catch!

They're great for tug of war because they're so tough! :))

The fruit and veg stall on our market only seems to sell the cooked corn :( I will have to have a look in Chester when I next go as they have quite a few fruit and veg places.

This time last year Asda had them in abundance at like 2 for £1 or something but I haven't seen them yet! I have been getting mine (literally like 2!) from a farm shop. They have said that the crop was really late, and bad this year.

They love playing tug of war with it! They make a great riiiiiiiiiiiiiipppp noise :)

I will have to have a search, there are quite a few farm shops a reasonable distance from me! I can't afford to be buying them Sainsburys 'taste the difference' corn, just because they have husks! They are £1.99 for 2 corns.

I go to my local farm shop and buy carrots for the tops, and corn for the husks mallethead

I think I see my avatar on the computer screen ;)
Hope they enjoyed their corn husks x

i wish larry would be more inclined to eat something other than his usual carrot , cucumber lettuce and parsley

he's far to fussy !

ps - those piggies xoxo

I love Amina's face!

Wish mine would eat corn husks as I can get heaps for free. Hazelnut is a fussy eater. Peanut Butter will try anything but stop as soon as he sees Hazelnut isn't eating it. I thought it was supposed to work the other way around! Fussy pig is supposed to eat what the other pig is eating out of "jealousy".

So sure enough, when I first introduced corn husks and silk, PB immediately started in on it, Hazelnut came nowhere near it and eventually PB turned his nose up at it too.

Have you tried giving them the part of the whole corn, both sweetcorn and husks? All my gingers the corn and husks whereas Rosie will only eat the husk so by putting it all in theres some for everyone :)

Yes, they got the corn before I knew they could eat husks and silk as well. As usual Hazelnut wouldn't go anywhere near it, Peanut Butter eagerly nommed on it and after about 5 minutes went to join Hazelnut and would never try the stuff again.

I know i shouldn't have a favourite but Ehab is totally gorgeous x). i never knew piggies could eat all parts of sweetcorn
