We just got a new piggy and noticed a spot on his nose. We’ve tryed to rub it off and even used warm water to try and soften it but it’s still hard to the touch. Not sure if this is a normal fungal issue or a scab of some kind?D5AC5473-ED89-4880-844A-4B63CE48C6FF.webp

I think you need to get this checked out by a vet, its a good idea to get any new piggies registered with a vet and having a thorough check-up in their first couple of weeks with you.

I’d take piggy to the vet for that. Hopefully it is just something stuck to the fur, but if it is a scab then you may need to check for any underlying issues

I agree with the posters above that this requires a hands-on check from a vet.

All the best!

Boar glue would be white(ish) stuff dried on/in the hair, and hard to get off. This looks like the actual skin.
