after a visit to the vets last night then the rehoming centre.i woke up a little late this morning as all mums know when you are in a rush the kids try there hardest to go as slow as theye possibly can.i had a sticky up but of hair that would not go down so had to wash it quickly.brushing my teeth got toothpaste on the back of my hand the rubbed it across my face forgetting it was there.after 5 mins of stinging eyes we got out of the door. What a state i must have looked when i turned up at pets at home for the job interview. No cup of tea to start my day either.and then the maager had the ordasity to laugh at me when i was telling him about my frank spencer morning.although the actual interview after that went down a treat he loved my Growing knowledge of guinea pigs thanks to you people on here.and my knowledge of other animals and reptiles theye had there. But on a good note i start monday have a induction later today.

well done hope it all goes well :) if its any consuilation i think its just one of those days for everyone :)

yeah just think i panicked and rushed a little to much.but nevermind the manager thought i was a right character and apparently thats what theye are looking for.

Congratulations :) Hope your induction day goes well and hope your first day on Monday goes well :) What a great start to the weekend :)

Fantastic news! Glad you got the job, it'll be exciting working in pets at home :D

aww, I remember applying for P@H when I was at college and I got turned down due to having pink hair! Probably a blessing in disguise as I would have ended up with a house full!

ive worked in a few pet shops and a few stables i was in the army working as a dog handler for 11 years.but had to be discharged due to a rotting knee.would have joined the police but failed the entry tests :-( so i carried on with horses.then ended up working in 1 pet shop as much as i didnt want to Money was tight. But i really Loved it to my surprise.the last year i have been working in a small pet shop and building C+C cages on the side and also walking dogs for the rspca.but the P@H is closing down near me but theye are opening another very soon 10 miles down the road it just doesnt make sense.Either way I'm working in this one till the other one opens.only downside to this Job is the fact that there are gonna be so many pigs there and i have to realise i cant take them all home :-(
