My Boars are around 7 months old and since yesterday have barely eaten which is very unusual for them. Also I went to 'poo pick' and there's is only around 4 or 5 poo's and they are light brown in colour.

Normally there are Loads and loads of poo's and they are dark brown.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks

If your piggies are not eating at all, you need to take them asap to a vet. It is very important that piggies eat to keep there guts moving. Hope they will be ok.

As above - please take them to the vet today as an emergency.

If they are not pooing it means they probably stopped eating over 20 hours ago and as
a) both of them are affected
b) they are only 7 months old
this is not something that can be left until tomorrow.

The vet needs to identify the cause (possibly an infection or something they;ve both eaten that disagrees with them - dental issues are less likely given both are affected and their young age), check for dehydration and obstructions in the gut, check teeth and also give treatment for their current condition This should possibly include a gut stimulant such as metoclopromide or zantac (or both), and you will need some critical care/supreme recovery/mashed pellets and syringes to feed them. They will need 20-30 ml food every 3-4 hours as it is important to keep it going into and through their gut on a regular basis untill they are back to eating and pooping normally. If an infection is suspected they vet may give antibiotics as well and it is advisble to feed probiotics (plus additional vit C) mixed in with the critical care

Hopefully this is nothing serious and they will make a full recovery, especially as you have spotted the symptoms early.

Good luck

Please have them seen by a vet and weigh them at least once daily. Until then, feed them with mushed up pellets to keep their guts going (may be a struggle); please also syringe water or dioralite - they may be dehydrated.

there are many reasons that can lead to loss of appetite, not all are illness related. Here is a list of possible causes; please check through it: http://www.guinealynx.info/anorexia.html

Given that the boys are not eating or pooing I would deem it an emergency and get them to the vet today. Pebble has given very good advice, please do not delay.
