Not sure weather to get him a friend

I have a 7 Month old guinea pig and I’m worried that if I get him a friend that they won’t get along and fight?
 
No one can tell you whether that will happen or not as bonds very much depend on personality not age etc. I don't know where you are based but if you are in the UK I would highly suggest looking at our rescue locator in the top bar, this is a list of reputable rescues that should be able to offer boar dating. If you are happy to take your boy along to them and let them try him with any single boars they have and he picks his own friend you are much more likely to end up with a good bond. An alternative would be to look at having him neutered by a cavy savvy vet and find him a female companion after the 6 week safety window has passed. These bonds tend to be a bit more stable but still are not guaranteed
