Does she have any bald patches or hair thinning? did the hair come out easily and does her skin look bright pink at all? Do you know anything about her history?

She has no other bald patches or hair thining and i had to pick at it for a few days just when ive been brushing her for it to come out as it was stuck down quite a bit her skin isnt red and apparently she was a show piggie but her claws were really long

That's not a good sign, for me, anything that big coming away indicates the hair has been pulled, by another piggy? or there is some kind of skin issue.
Worth checking the skin of any sign of mites or similar.

I'm afraid my experience of an ex show piggy doesn't necessarily mean they are in good shape...my flossie is an ex show and ex breeding piggy, she was left with a floppy belly, but she's adorable. She does take a fair bit looking after.

It's not urgent but l'd get a vet check. Those tufts are very large, if she was show her hair may have been constantly brushed & it may have weakened it. Pop her into the vet this week, & I'm sure she can reassure you.

Does she seem itchy?
Eddi had similar patches coming out when he had mites.
They went away after a full course of treatment with Xeno.

With your cat it might be due to wheat in the food, my cat had hair come out like that too because of it. It also made her sick :( Always worth trying a wheat free or grain free diet, my cat looks in amazing condition now :)

As for the piggy it's definitely worth a vet visit to check for mites or fungal :)

My cat has bladder stones and is in a special diet to prevent them and cant eat anything else bless him probably will book coral in for a mot as soon as we get back from our holiday

My pig had that! If it's the same as what my piggy had, then it's a fungal infection on the skin. It's not too serious however you should still take him to the vets.
