I was in my local Jolleys pet shop the other day and came across these nuggets. L.F.J. Millers Crunchy Nuggets. I have never seen this brand before and I am unsure wether it is a suitable and good brand, and I thought I’d ask people on here if they knew if these were good nuggets. View attachment 100559

It’s wheatfeed.

It would be a no from me- I only feed grain free pellets and ones based on some kind of grass/hay.
Wheat unfortunately is a cheap filler and really doesn’t do much but add weight on to the pigs.

Lucerne is also in the composition list, thats alfalfa ( high calcium)

Thank you, I have a senior and I heard that’s not good for them so I’ll keep that in mind.

High calcium is good for young pigs and i think its up to 4 months old but some say 6 months. And pregnant pigs

This is a relatively new feed to the market, it's fairly ok on the calcium side compared to other available nuggets. It will be added to the revamped nugget chart soon.
