Pignapping is an impossibility - our pigs are well guarded by three loving children!
BTW, we haven't cut their nails yet (we've had them a month) ... do Nutmeg's look too long? Should we cut or file them?

What a beautiful photo x) Her nails don't look too long to me, there doesn't seem to be much nail showing from the quick

Very sweet.
Generally, claws are about ready to cut at just over a year old. (can't wait for that to happen with my new 11 months old girls with their razor sharp baby claws!)
But I must admit that I do chicken out and take them to the vet to have one of the nurses cut them while I hold the piggies, as my hubby is no help.

I cut mine and they are only about 7 months old! I'm not sure what age you should start but mine were always scratching me so I just give them a little clip once every 4/6 weeks and have been doing it a couple of months now. They don't appreciate it though
