Hi all!
I'm hoping someone can give me a little advice. I have two healthy, happy pigs who get Nature's Own Sweet Green hay and 5-a-day hay with Science selective grain free nuggets (recently moved over from burgess). They get veg and sometimes a small piece of fruit once a day. My girl will basically eat anything you give her, but my boar is a complete fusspot! I'm worried he doesn't get enough nutrients because he's a fussy veg eater.
I'm basically wanting to find out if the pellets and hay brands I'm giving them will give him enough nutrients (esp vitamin C) or should I give him something like Pro-C?
I haven't used pro-C before, but have seen a few members on here seem to use it. The ingredients in Pro-C seem to include a lot of sugar, which I am sceptical about giving them as I just moved them over to grain free food to reduce sugars, flavourings & grains etc.. Any advice, help or comments would be super appreciated! :)

I'm afraid I don't know anything about Pro-C... As far as the fussy eating goes - what sort of veg are they on now that your boar isn't interested in? We could perhaps recommend some other veg/herbs to try. Coriander is on the high vitamin C list (as are dandelion greens) and he'd have to be very fussy not to enjoy coriander or dandelion leaves! Another thing I found with my guinea pigs is that how you prepare it can make a big difference - certain veg I was chopping up to start with and they weren't interested. But when I gave them to them as a big chunk or un-chopped, suddenly they wanted to eat them!
