Oat Hay everyday

Good evening
I’ve bought some oat hay for my two girls as am having severe allergy problems with the meadow hay I was using and am trying to find a way to be able to manage long term. I saw on a forum page about food here that it is okay as an every day food instead of Timothy hay or meadow and on some other pages online but some places say it should just be a treat. What’s everyone’s opinion?

I’m not sure but I’m assuming it can be fed daily. I tried my piggies on it but they didn’t seem to like it Have you tried timothy as well?

Fortunately they loved it! I am feeling a bit anxious to try Timothy Hay as have heard it can set off allergies and the meadow hay has made me v unwell. Thank you

My girls love oat hay too, but I'd heard they should only have it occasionally as well so they normally only get it once a week.

They'll be thrilled to hear they can have it more often if the general consensus is that it's fine for daily feeding.
