So, having posted on here but having no joy finding a boarding home for the piggies, we approached a local pet shop who said she would 'have room' for them for the weekend. (For those of you who don't know, Bill and Ben have lived next to each other since some severe and very vicious fights about a year ago).
So, on Friday, we duly delivered Bill and Ben, expecting the pet shop lady to have cages to put them in. OH NO! :{ She was expecting us to bring cages for them. Anyway, she put them into 2 boxes, next door to each other and off we went on holiday.
Yesterday, we trotted off to the pet shop to pick them up. The pet shop lady (Mel) said they had been demons and invited us to go up and look at them.
Apparently, Bill had bitten his way out of his box and into Ben's and they had been living happily together in the same box for the past three days!
We brought them home and I'm happy to report that, while there have been a few minor territorial/dominance skirmishes, they are getting on famously again!
The only problem is.........having sold all their 2 piggy accomodation, we now have to buy it all again!
