Hi all

Maybe I'm overreacting as I lost a piggy recently to pneumonia or a heart condition, we don't actually know which (started as pneumonia)...but our newish piggie Burt tonight is sounding a bit weird.
I've heard some breathing clicks although it's not constant and sometimes it sounds (when I put my ear next to his face) that he's squeaking and not much is coming out.

He's a bit chattery to himself and due to the rain making his hutch wet (despite cover!) we've brought him inside so he's nice, dry and non-bumlefooty. His chest doesn't sound wheezy or anything.

He has had slightly crusty eyes but had a treatment for it that did nothing, I think it's just cleaning fluid that's dried out...

Overreacting piggy parent?!

Possibly but I can see why you are being cautious. How long has he been with you? I would get him checked out by a vet just in case. They will be able to listen to his chest etc.
