...say they havent been on the forum for ages!
They would like to reassure everyone on the forum that they are fine, overwintering in the penthouse suite in the upstairs home office by the radiator.
Tallulah is still usually out of focus, being a quantum hippo who flickers in and out of time and space:

And when his wife resolves into focus then Ollie's magnificent wonky silver bottom has usually disappeared into the nearest hay pile :)

They have been having playpen time with eggboxes today which always brings up the question of... if you see a skinny pig with her enormous ears stuck in an eggbox for the 7th week running, should you help her or laugh and take photos...?
I helped her but if she does it next week I might have the camera waiting!

That sounds priceless, definitely camera time next time Tallulah tangles with the egg box!

I cut a little snout window in the eggbox side so they can flip it open but Tallulah being quite small gets her whole head in, then her big ears get caught as she tries to withdraw... a couple of frantic headshakes and the eggbox flies open showering peaflakes and cucumber chunks eveywhere and she never learns what needs to happen but is obsessed with trying, so Sunday afternoons often feature a hippo with an eggbox on her head. I never leave them unsupervised and she always gets free but its just so daft, especially if there are 2 eggboxes she'll do exactly the same thing with the next one 30 seconds later!

(also I'd totally take photos and laugh. I'm so mean.)

If you think that's mean ...

Years ago I was on a skiing holiday in Switzerland with a big group of fellow Christians... crossing a steep slope I lost an edge, fell over and began sliding down faster and faster, losing my skis and poles one by one. I thought I was going to go over the edge and end up in pieces at the bottom :yikes::bye: but somehow managed to stop in time - whereupon the group leader arrived and seeing me start to get up, smiled and said "Could you do that again for the video camera?" 😂😇

Glad you managed to stop. 😬
