Hi, I have been asked to help jellybabyjess with an issue she has come across regarding her 3 boars.
As some of you may know she had to separate her original 2 after they had a fall out. At first Bugsy was on his own, but he didn't cope well and was very agitated, so she swapped them round and had Snickers on his own and Bugsy in with Cadbury.
Bugsy and Cadbury are getting along fine, but she is worried as Snickers isn't eating or drinking properly and is often found just sitting in the corner of the cage.
Do any of you have any advice I can pass on to her on how to sort this situation? Is there any way to get him to start eating properly?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Can he see and chat to the other boys through the bars of the cage? Often just having company along side can make all the difference. If illness isn't a factor and he still doesn't respond to having their cage next to his then I would suggest a companion of his own - a bit of boar-dating at his local rescue so he gets to choose who he lives ith this time. Best of luck!

Thank you Suzy. I think she did mention something about putting them next to each other, but I'm not sure if they are right now. By the sound of it he seems quite lonely and Jess was considering getting another from a rescue. I will let her know your suggestions.
Thank you.
