Hi all
On doing nail trims and health checks I noticed my new guinea pig had got one different coloured nail. I have only.trimed his nails three times and I am sure it wasnt this colour before but he has been very wriggly so may of thought it was a dirty nail.
I have tried to clean it but its not dirt and when triming it he showed no signs of pain.
Could this be just the colour or an injury? He does have grey in his hair too
Thank you
Paula and Jaffa.

Hi

That is nothing to worry about. Dirt stained nails are not at all uncommon and will grow out anyway.
