I was just wandering past my guinea pig cage a couple of minutes ago and noticed that my 12 week, Abyssinian Juno had just done a wee and it was an opaque pale yellow colour. Is this normal? Ever since i got him he has had milky urine but it is the first time i have noticed it being an opaque pale yellow. I had inserted some pictures to help.

Milky urine is a way of the body to excrete excess calcium. If this is very often, you may want to consider reducing the amount of calcium in the diet.

Depending on the veg your are feeding, the urine can be quite strongly coloured. Dehyration can cause cause strongly coloured urine.

Sadly I cannot see your pictures. if you have uploaded them elsewhere online, you can just copy/paste them into a post.
