I saw his rb story first, I'm so upset, please remember you did everything you could. I know if you are like me, you will have days of guilt and "did i do the right thing", but you did!.. You did more than most, and I'm sure Boris would thank you if he could.
Sending loads of love xxxxxx
I'm in tears too, but everything good has to come to an end. I am certain in my heart (especially after looking at the various pictures of him) that Boris was a happy and settled piggie, secure in your love and care. I hope you will remember him with genuine pride, no guilt. He needed you and you were there for him. Thinking of you, Sarah x
I have to say that Boris was with you for a purpose. For anyone that ever reads this thread and the others, you and your family are truly an inspiration and Boris the King of brave piggies everywhere.
I am gutted you lost your fight for him, but look at the knowledge you have gained and the capacity for loving a small animal so much!
Bonnie what can i say - i am so sorry for your loss, remember you gave Boris so much love and care and many chances he will be sadly missed, i would follow his story everyday like many of us on the forum he became part of our days too! sending lots of hugs your way he is now at peace - rest soundly now Boris god bless you always - run free little man! - Tab x
I am so sorry Bonnie I have just logged in to catch up with this thread and this is the news I dreaded to hear I have followed all your threads about Boris and feel as though I new him myself. Please do not feel guilty as you did what was best for him and have fought so hard to keep him here but you new it was time for him to go. Boris will always appreciate what you did for him and although he has gone to Rainbow Bridge, a part of him will live forever in your heart.
Sleep peacefully little Boris and have fun at the bridge. Watch over your mummy as she loves you and will miss you very much. You were a very special piggy x
Since joining the forum over a year ago, there have been many piggy stories good and sad but 2 in particular really pulled on my heart strings. These are Glynis's Duke and now your Boris.
Me and my girls are thinking of you all at this sad time xxxxxxxxxxx
The first place I look on the health boards is to find news about Boris. He was truly the star of the forum!
I really hope you are feeling just a little better, hun. After all this time looking after Boris, it is time to relax and look after yourself for a bit. x
Bonnie, I'm so so sorry about little Boris going to his forever sleep. He was such a special little chap, too special for this life. He was meant to be your little guy, he had so much love for you that you wouldn't even realise. I'm sat here in floods of tears, I'm so upset. I wish I could come over to you and hug you. He has such a special place in all our hearts xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Bonnie,
I've just read the whole of your threads ,we've never spoken but i really do feel for you.Today i had to put a stop to my piggy's suffering too. You know it's for the best but it doesnt stop the hurting and you feel, even though you know in your heart you did what was right.
You did your best for Boris . He was so lucky to have you.
I've sent a little prayer message up to Scruff ( pic ) who went away to Rainbow bridge today to keep her eye out for him and make sure he popcorns plenty...
Just logged on to catch up with your news but having just read the latest I want to say how you did a fantastic job caring for Boris throughout his little life....like a guinea pig angel you were there to see him through good times and bad.
I'm glad he went peacefully and with you by his side.
R.I.P King Boris you'l always have your followers.
x
