My girls have been sleeping on a white shredded type bedding and I've noticed patches of orange dried liquid on the bedding, could this be menstrual related or should I take them to the vet?

Guinea pigs do not have periods. Did you feed them orange pepper or carrot? They can make urine look orange.

No they've had apple and cucumber they might of had it Tuesday before I got them but none since & oh okay I assumed they did lol thanks for letting me know

Urine often oxidises to a rusty/orangey colour when it comes into contact with the air and dries.

That's the bedding with the orange on if that helps

I hope that's all it is, they have all been working Out the hierarchy of dominance at the mo so don't want them drawing blood or causing problems for eachother

Blood in urine usually manifests as small red splotches in the middle of a puddle or as a reddish rim in a different colour to the rest of the wee.
