There are so many wonderful things to say about our gorgeous boy Bobby. He truly was a stunning piggy! I used to call him my ‘little unicorn’ because he was so magical looking, with his huge Disney eyes and the piece of hair that stuck up on the top of his head!
Bobby and his brother Rufus came to live with us after a woman in Oxford contacted me to say she could no longer keep them. As they were both such stunning boars, she was worried that once passed on to a new home, they would end up separated for breeding purposes. They were so well bonded and she wanted a home for them to stay together. So they came to live with us (in what I called the ‘penthouse suite’ in our piggy room).
When he arrived (not long after Odin’s passing), the first thing we noticed was how much he and Odin looked alike! I immediately had that soft spot for him as he was so similar to my special boy
They lived happily together and shared a strong bond
Bobby had the most beautiful hair (meaning mum always had lots of grooming and trimming to do)! He was such a stunner to look at. And such a lovely boy inside and out too.
Bobby was always a little shy, in comparison to his brother, but did enjoy the occasional snuggle. He had some rather exuberant moves, and we loved watching him popcorn around his house
It was his time to leave us for the rainbow bridge, despite my very best efforts. He most likely had something quite sinister going on in his tiny body. He’s left a huge hole in our hearts and he was very much loved. We hope he carries that love with him and that he’s having a wonderful time with my other boys up there
We love you Bobby, you will always be in our hearts
Sleep tight little man
