Our brave boy - Chewy xx

Oh Chewy, we miss you so much already & it was only yesterday that you left for the bridge.
You were our first 'official' rescue piggy & the first rex we had ever seen - that's why we chose you, because you were so special.
You were such a friendly boy, very quiet, but always found your voice when someone new entered the piggy room. That's why Alex nicknamed you bird man because your wheek was like a bird! You were always the most laid back of all the piggies - the easiest to bath & would just sit there to have your nails clipped.
You were such a good friend to Wicket - he misses you so much too. You looked after him so well when he was poorly, letting him share the hammock & pigloos with you.
You had been so brave these last few months, fighting so hard to stay with us but yesterday you had clearly had enough. I'm so thankful that you took that horrible decision out of my hands & passed peacefully in your crash pad with Wicket by your side & me stroking your head. I'm glad that you are free from your pain now Chewy - popcorn free at the bridge & say hello to Patch, Billy & Max for us. We will never forget you & will love you always - our special Chewby Looby xxxxxxxxxxxx
