Feeling like the boys deserve a spot for some photos.
Soo….
Here are Hamish & Billy who are neighbours.

Cheeky Billy pig, full of character, keeps us laughing. He struggles to play hunt the pellet & can have grass or veggies right in front of him but still walk all over his home before he discovers them!

Our Hamish pig, he has recently become very serious, and does love a long morning nap. He knows all our favourite hiding spots for veggies & pellets! Hamish loves to taunt Billy through the bars.

Hello Hamish and Billy, what handsome little boars you both are 😍

Absolutely gorgeous boys 💙💙 Bet they have such fun finding all the veggies. I must do that too

As the boys live as neighbours and no competition for veggies, we now try and turn veg time into a bit more of a challenge too.

First couple of pieces have to be hand fed, I was trained well by Hector 🌈 & Hamish.

Watching Billy &Hamish trying to find the veg is funny. I almost want to say hotter/colder depending on where they are sniffing!

I noticed last night that Billy’s grease gland was disgusting, 🤢underneath his fur, so he had a bit of an impromptu hair cut.
Billy is such a drama king. I had to enlist the help of our lovely boarding lady to do his nails last time.
Hair cut was a drama too, he couldn’t decide if he should react or eat his lettuce. Quite comical- if I hadn’t had scissors in my hand. Next step is attempting a clean up. Kind of hoping that by this evening when I am brave enough again- he may have cleaned it up a bit himself!

Please stop taking pictures of my bum hoooman, it’s embarrassing enough that you gave me a haircut!

Hamish wanting to know what was going on….

That is a very neat haircut! You’ve clearly been to cavy coiffure school.

Thank you, but I only trimmed the hair round his grease gland. Up close it’s not a good luck. He’s so dramatic that’s as much as I dare cut. The rescue said he was a short haired pig…… he definitely is not, he has a bit of a skirt & long fluffy bits by his ears. I can’t think of a better way to describe his fur.

Hamish is napping like this again . Don’t know how he does it, especially with a sore pelvis/back.

Billy has been begging all morning. Apparently having a slave at home means he deserves more food. Never mind the giant mountain of hay behind him!

Hoomans & piggies home from a holiday.

Billy, looking all sweet & innocent had caused some chaos at the boarding home, he decided to try and eat the plastic divider, on his holiday home.
Both boys ended up moving home mid holiday to another room!
Oops!
They did send an apologetic postcard& we took back some chocolate.
Think they will be allowed back, for another holiday before the end of the year.

I am feeling sad, as the boys lovely boarding place has announced they will no longer be taking boarders at the end of this year. Time to look for someplace equally amazing.

Hamish built himself a hay nest within minutes of getting home.

I know all about piggy misbehaviour while on holiday. My piggies spent a week wheeking at full volume, starting early in the morning. 🙉
Sorry that you have to find a new boarding place.
You have just reminded me, first day of holidays I got a message to let us know Hamish spent the whole afternoon wheeking for his supper.
They had a lot of piggy company all around them to encourage them!

I managed to pop home for a short while, during my working day.
Hamish was not impressed, I interrupted his nap time!

Billy, thinks I should do it every day, especially if he gets a cucumber snack!
