Hey guys I'm back with another question. With the other post I'm tryin to get them to open up a little more I'm not sure if its going all that well but I'm trying. Also how come when i let them out of the cage to run around a play all they do is try to get back in the cage. I have boxes set up so they can run around in and not go behind my dresser and things like that. But i have the cage as the starting box. I close the cage so they cant get in. But i guess my quesion is should i remove the cage that way they dont run back to it.

Will that help them try to explore more?

Thanks brandon

I have this problem, they just sit dead still and wait to go back to their cage..... I guess in time they'll hopefully enjoy floor time.

Hi Brandon, it'll take time it's a matter of them getting used to their area, they're just a bit wary at the mo,
give them some space and remember patience, you'll be surprised within a couple of weeks they'll be used
to their new home and learn to love you too :-* :-*

well i never had this problem with mine there are always so happy to come and play wvwn when i first got them i eman whe ni got holy and meggie a year ago it use to take forever to catch them to get them out but now there sit there and let me pick them up out of there cage but lilly and mlly still beening babies run around too but once i get the out there dont wanna go back

It's just a matter of time for them to get used to different things and surroundings. Theyy class their cage as 'safe' so they will obviously go back to it :)
It will work for sure :) Keep at it!

It took Bowie about a week to realise that he could have the whole floor to play on, but now he loves it :p The two girlies we have cottoned on a bit quicker, but then Inara runs and jumps over things like a racehorse!

Awsome thanks guys. They were running around but then after a few mins they would run back to the cage and try to get in the cage. atleast when you open it they will go back in ahah. Thanks again guys

Try putting their favourite food the other side so they can't resist going to find it!
