hi people.

the pigs are 5 month old now and i was worried at one point that david was a lot smaller than craig. However just these past few weeks hes really bulked up (iv not weighed them iv got no scales), but he is a proper little chunky boy now he actually looks bigger than craig. i feed them unlimited pellets, unlimitied hay and readigrass and veg twice a day which i think i give them more than i should i dont weigh it but when i do weight it its a lot smaller portion.

i was wondering should i continue how i am doing until they are 6 months old then reduce the pellets and veg or just keep going how i am. i guess the way i was looking at it was they need lots of veg and food because they are growing. however,I dont want them to be overweight, they do seem to be shooting up though hahahahha. they look very very cute x

I know what you mean. :)

Have you read this thread before?

As long as the focus stays on hay and veggies, and the dry food is given in more limited quantities, they shouldn't get overweight. :)

I've got a set of scales here if you want them, they're not digital but I got on fine with them for years - I'd have to ask £5 to cover postage though. Let me know if you're interested.

thats brill laura, yes please i will take the scales off you, can i pay you on paypal?

thats good, i got paranoid they were getting fat when i guess they are just getting bigger, ill cut down on the pellets shortly though xx
